Should 5 star basketball recruits be pay?


 

High school basketball has evolved in such à positive next-level way. 5-star recruits put on the show at the high school level more than the big leagues and I think that they should get profit or credit for what they are bringing to this generation. Social media plays à big role in the basketball world now, with overtime/ball is life/slamHS and many big names with Instagram, YouTube and Snapchat platforms who give the chance to give the players exposure all over the world. I feel like 5-star high school basketball recruits should get some type of Wealth because it’s à known fact 84.2% of these kids are coming from struggling families and work hard while going through hard times.  It would help them à lot more to focus on their dreams and finishing school and not getting à job and working all the time to help their single moms or poor families. If kids got paid in hs for basketball they would wanna also work harder to make it to that point and it would motivate them to chase their dreams.

Basketball is a worldwide affordable sport. You can find a basketball court or net around almost every corner nowadays and it’s because basketball is the best sport. Basketball was invented in 1891 by a Springfield college graduate James Naismith. To play because all you honestly need to do is dedicate yourself and believe that you will be good one day and some shoes and probably around 200$ to get started and that's why I also think it's the best sport because it's very affordable for kids who can't afford other sports that cost 1000$ or more.
